Chick-fil-A is apparently the largest grossing privately owned company in America.  But, more importantly they strive to fulfill their mission:  “to glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us and to have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A”

Chick-fil-A isn’t a church, but if they were I’d go.  Here’s why:  No proselytizing.  Service for the sake of the served.  Acceptance of those with differing beliefs.  Actual rest on Sundays.  Polynesian Sauce.

    In 1999, Singer-songwriter Keith Naylor gave me one of his CD’s and then said “Smell it to me later.” Immediately, I thought “Smell it to me later? That is the coolest phrase I’ve ever heard…Keith Naylor rocks.” In 2002, as I was thinking back about how cool Keith Naylor was, I realized that he never said, “Smell it to me later.” Rather, he said, “Just mail it to me later.”

    “Crap.”

    I still owe him.
