I need to buy a book today to read on my cruise – any suggestions?

Is my blog too plain looking?

Have you ever been able to pop every single kernel in your microwave popcorn bag without burning any?

If so, I need to know the brand of microwave, temp setting, and exact time you punched in.

“The Road” by Cormac MacCarthy. It’ll keep you in check and depress you on your cruise. Or, for basketball fans, I ALWAYS suggest “My Losing Season” by Pat Conroy. One of the best books I’ve ever read.

No. I don’t care about looks. Just what’s inside. Of your heart.

The Barbarian Way. Short and Powerful.

You could spice it up a bit. Maybe put a background of jalepenos.

Never. I think as a rule of thumb though, you must get the popcorn with extra butter or it tastes like those nasty rice cakes. Who though up rice cakes anyway? And why to they sell? It’s flattened popcorn for 10x’s the price.

Is this your first cruise? I just went on my first with my family about a month ago. It was great. As far as a book, you want novel or insightful?

    For your Cruise I recommend:

    1. Any David Sedaris essay book… conatins short and hilarious stories…gives you time to quickly finish a story and then go down that big red water slide in the middle of the boat deck.

    2. Yes…you need to bedazzle.

    3. The “Perfect Pop” is not possible (say that 5 times fast). With that said…popcorn is still awesome…look at it this way. See the link.

    1) In a Pit With a Lion on a Snowy Day and God’s Blogs are my 2 faves right now.
    2) It’s a little plain, but I use Google Reader, so I can’t see it anyway.
    3) Orville Reddenbacher yields the highest probability for a perfect pop. However, it’s a complicated function of flavor, wattage and ambient air vs. relative humidity.

Thank you all for your comments. I have a few new books to read now. Which one did I read on my trip? None of them. I read 0 books.
