I want to throw a Double Dare party. We're talking red and blue teams, giant body parts filled with slime, orange flags, a blow-up obstacle course (because let's face it, reconstructing the DD set would be nearly impossible), trivia questions, pie contraptions, relay races to fill containers full of stuff, human hamster balls (OK, so those weren't actually on the show, but c'mon, you can't tell me that wouldn't be fun), and a trip to Space Camp.

I'll invite all my twenty- and thirty-something friends to come. With only one condition: they must leave their sense of shame at home.

How would you feel about emceeing? You'd have no problem figuring out what to say to hype the crowd. A simple, "On your Mark, Get Set, Go!" would suffice.

Did you ever watch the show Fun House? That had the best course to run through at the end of a show. It was hosted by a Marc Summers look a like. Now that I think about it the show totally ripped off Double Dare, but I still loved it.

At first I thought, "hmm... did kids really get hung up on that one, or is Amber just wanting to make mention of the giant nose picking obstacle". Then I found this:

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWYuzO0zD6U&fe..." target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWYuzO0zD6U&fe...

truly sad.

Didn't Marc Summers also host Legends of the Hidden Temple? That and Double Dare were my favorite game shows of all time.

It wasn't just you - the kids did consistently disappoint. Especially the climbing-up-the-slide challenge. Brace your feet on the sides!
Idiot!
Do you remember "Finders Keepers" where the kids had to search for clues in different rooms of a house?

They always disappointed on the huge nose picking obstacle. How hard is it to reach into a giant nose and find a red flag? I mean really. Kids are pros at picking noses.
