So seriously…

I’m going to start blogging about some more serious topics once a week, but I’m afraid.  Based on my stats you people don’t want serious out of me as much as you want silly.

I’m not talking about serious topics like people exploding or how fast I can run.  I want to share more of my self-conversations on issues (some controversial and some not).  Did you ever read my post on cussing?  That’s what I mean.  There’s still humor, but my other motive is to provoke you.

So tell me which of these topics you’d be most interested in.  And, go ahead and tell me if you plan on skipping my self-conversation days.  It’s fine.  I just want to know.  It’s really okay. Seriously.  If you don’t believe me, I’m just telling you.  It’s no big deal.  I won’t be offended.  Just frustrated.  That’s not the same.  So, here are the topics.

Drugs and alcohol
Sunday morning church
Nudity
Rockets
Short term mission trips
Predestination
Masturbation
Humor
Art
Dating
Worship
Saphires
etc…

Speeding… seriously. Most of us do it, but does that make it right? Even if the officers who are suppose to enforce the law give us “5″ or “10″ miles per hour over the speed limit is it still okay? I know it’s not a taboo topic like masturbation or drugs, but hey it’s all I’ve got.

This isn’t really related to this post, but I found something I thought you might get a kick out of if you haven’t seen it yet:

Also…sapphires? like, the gems? yeah, I’m curious about your thoughts on those.

  9. Dude says:

I’m interested in everything except for the sapphires. I hope our comments provoke you as well.

  10. Blake says:

Can you talk about why rednecks love dolphins and wolves so much? And sunsets. That or masterbation.

I believe I linked my blog to your cussing post! I liked it!

I choose: short term missions, worship, and rockets…and robots even though that wasn’t on the list. David has me thinking a lot about those lately.

  12. I’d like to hear it all!

  13. I’d like to hear your thoughts on textiles.

  14. Rinda says:

Go for it! Especially if you have personal insight into all of the above.

  15. Mack Ksmoot says:

I think it would be funny and educational if you wrote about the 7th thing on your list.

  16. kimmlee says:

  17. Tyler says:

Would it be possible to incorporate drugs, alcohol, and sapphires into a post about sunday morning church?

  18. Mike says:

I want to know why you didn’t hit me with the Fresca last night.

  19. Rebekah says:

Sounds interesting…I’ll still soak in all your little pearls of wisdom, even if they do bore me to tears. But if I’m crying I probably won’t be able to see the words…hey how about writing about man crying? I can watch chicks cry all day, I lose it when a dude cries, especially little old men. Real men cry.
And how about guy’s that have forgotten how to act like a man on a date? I could rant and rave forever about doofy little boys and their inability to open a door!!!
