I woke up this morning overwhelmingly grateful. Okay, that’s a lie. I woke up feeling like I needed to brush my teeth. But then, while I was showering I started feeling an overwhelming amount of gratitude.
Usually in the shower my thoughts are:
“Soap… done. Shampoo. Wait. I already did that. Or did I? I guess I can do it again. Or is that bad for my head? Water not hot anymore. Hurry up. Can’t seem to hurry. Soap?”
But today… My brain was so alarmed by how much fun I’m having in life.
You know when you’re standing in the middle of some beautiful landscape, but you’re also surrounded by a thick black curtain? And, then a giant guy with a beard lifts the curtain, and suddenly you see how beautiful your surroundings are? No? Well, that’s how I felt this morning.
I love what I do. And, I get paid for doing it. Life is fun, and I’m so aware today.
Also, there are thousands of unemployed people right now who would love to have a job they hate. I am fortunate. I have an opportunity.
An opportunity to hire people? I wish
Give away lots of money? Then I’d be right where they are.
What is it that I have plenty of right now that others are without?
Fun.
I have lots of fun, so today I’m going to figure out a way to share this with someone that doesn’t. I’m not totally sure how I’m going to pull this off, but I have a few ideas.
What do you have plenty of that others around you are without?
Seriously I want to know.

Cameras.
Anyone want one?
Money.
As a public school teacher, I make around $26/hour. Half of the world makes $2/day. One-third of the world, $1/day. Take someone who makes $1/day and put them on my pay scale at my level, and they’ve just scored a 20,700% increase.
Not a day goes by when I don’t think about that.
beauty. being in colorado right now i am surrounded by beauty. i can’t help but wonder if we look for beauty often enough in the space we are in.
Bros
Love:
Not only am I loved by so many (family and friends) I have so much love to give back..The best movie quote I’ve heard is from Moulin Rouge “The greatest thing you’ll ever learn is to love and be loved in return.” That says it all for me.
Friends.
I know that sounds harsh. But there are a lot of people that would say they don’t have very many. I’m pretty grateful for mine.
